We are looking forward to speaking at the RSGB National Analysts Conference (Joining the Dots), a virtual conference taking place over two days, 2nd and 3rd March.
This year the conference will be taking a focus on pressing topics facing the profession in this exceptional year and beyond including; changes in travel choice, the impact on roads casualties, shifting road user behaviour and predicting modal shift towards active travel.
Peter Mildon will be taking a detailed look at traffic data during 2020 to explore the impact that the various lockdowns had on both a national and local level. As part of the national level analysis, he will explore the impact of the key trends, not just for cars, but also pedestrians, cyclists and commercial vehicles. At a local level, he will look at two case studies, one exploring modal shift data, and a second looking at how interventions can change how road space is used to enhance safety.
