On the 20th of this month we welcomed Alvaro Cabrejas as a Research Intern with us.
Alvaro is a PhD Student in the MathSys Centre for Doctoral Training at the University of Warwick. He also collaborates with the Alan Turing Institute as Science Liaison for their Data Study Groups. Previously an aerospace engineer, he used to live in Hamburg, where he undertook structural testing for Airbus planes.
His recent research is centered around Traffic modelling, prediction and control, using a variety of tools to create novel applications of machine learning and time series analysis. Lately his research has revolved around demand estimation and forecasting for motorways and using Reinforcement Learning to optimize global flow in Urban Traffic Control.
We look forward to your time with us Alvaro.
